Jixi, Northeast China
Jixi is a provincial town in far eastern Heilongjiang Province about 100Km from the Russian border. I visited on a coal mine sampling trip and while there during a spring snow flurry I saw from my hotel window this private moment between mother and daughter. Like a voyeur I made this photo and then closed my curtians.
