Here lies, we are told, the final remains of Kong fu Cu (Confucious), the sage who so influenced and guided the developemnt of Chinese culture. Viewing are my colligues Mr. Gao of the China Coal Information institute, Miss Li from Shell China, and our local guide one of the sage's myriad descendants.
