I am told that the traveler to India must be careful of what they eat, enjoy the sights and don't drink the water. On a recent visit to India, both in city and countryside I had no problems whatsoever and I ate heartily of the wonderful local cuisine wherever I went. But then, I always drank the local brew which will never let you down! Kingfisher and Black Label are available in most watering holes and if you are lucky, you might find a waiter who can actually manage to remove a label.
